Private Lesson Policies

 

Welcome to my private studio!  Thank you for choosing me to guide and instruct you on your musical journey!  I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals!

 

LESSONS

  • Lessons are instructional sessions that also include time for set-up, break down, and any questions or concerns that you or your student may have
  • Students should bring all materials necessary for instruction
  • Instructor will give regular feedback after each lesson to help track student progress
  • Parents are encouraged to ask questions and are welcome to sit in at any time

 

TUITION

 

  • Tuition payments are paid a month in advance at a rate of $27.00 for each thirty minute lesson
  • Payments made with a credit or debit card will be assessed a convenience charge of 2.75% per swiped transaction and 3.5% + 15 cents per manual transaction
  • Tuition payments due will follow the calendar month and will be pro-rated if starting in the middle of the month
  • You will be responsible for your monthly tuition payment until you give notice to the instructor that you wish to discontinue
  • Tuition paid after the 7th of the month will incur a $10.00 late fee
  • Checks are to be made payable to Nathan Hughes
  • I reserve the right to refuse a lesson that I have not received payment for

 

ABSENCES

                                                

  • The time slot you have reserved was mutually agreed upon when you enrolled for your lesson, the instructor as well as other students depend upon you taking your lesson when you agreed to, for these reasons there will be no make-ups, re-schedules, or credits for lessons missed by the student
  • A lesson that has been paid for, but is cancelled due to teacher absence, national holiday, or inclement weather, will be credited to the students account for the upcoming month
  • While attendance of every lesson is encouraged please do not bring a student which is ill as the instructor will extend the same courtesy
